Professor Angela Stent is one of the United States most prominent foreign policy expect and specialist in Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies.
She is professor Emerita of Government and Foreign Service at Georgetown University, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and co-chairs its Hewett Forum on Post-Soviet Affairs.
From 2004-2006 she served as National Intelligence Officer for Russia and Eurasia at the National Intelligence Council.
Among her many books and publications are The Limits of Partnership: US-Russian Relations in the Twenty-First Century (Princeton University Press, 2014), and Putin’s World: Russia Against the West and With the Rest (Twelve Books, 2019).
