Ein Spielpalast lockt die Kühnen ins Licht,
wo Karte und Kugel entscheiden – reich oder nicht.
Einmal im Jahr, da brüllen Motoren,
durch Tunnel und Kehre, an Klippen und Toren.
Ein Mann mit rotem Mützchen führte einen Saal,
er erforschte die Meere, vom Plankton zum Wal.
Ein Star der Leinwand gab den Ruhm für die Macht,
und herrschte überm Meer, auf dem Felsen, mit Pracht.
